Warranty Policy for Compost Genie

LIMITED WARRANTY FOR COMPOST GENIE® PRODUCT

Compost Genie® is proud to offer you a two (2) year limited warranty on manufacturing defects for residential use only. The warranty is extended to the original owner only in the EU and the UK and is non-transferable (except to the extent permitted by applicable law).

This limited warranty pertains to all Compost Genie® food scrap waste bins.

This limited warranty does not apply to retailers, commercial applications, or establishments. Minor imperfections and slight colour variations may be considered normal. This warranty is valid only on products used in accordance with the provided instruction manual. It does not cover products assembled incorrectly or subjected to abnormal use. Normal wear and tear, misuse, negligence, improper handling, accident, abuse, neglect, or alteration of the product will not be covered under this limited warranty. Compost Genie® will not be held responsible for any direct or consequential damages or injuries related to the use of this product arising from improper use or assembly of this product.

The remedy under this limited warranty shall be product or part replacement, at Compost Genie® ’s sole discretion, as provided herein and cannot exceed the original purchase price. Replaced product will continue to be warranted for the remaining time of the original warranty period. Product(s) or component part(s) may be required to be returned for inspection and verification.

To process a warranty claim, customers must send an email to service@angelcaregroup.com
with the following information: first name, last name, product model number, purchase date, retailer name where the product was purchased, and a copy of the sales receipt. The Compost Genie® team will review the warranty claim request and, if eligible, either the entire product or a replacement part shall be issued and expedited to the customer’s address.

You may have consumer rights under applicable federal, regional, or municipal law that supersede aspects of this warranty. This warranty does not, in any way, supersede the rights given to you by law, and statutory warranty rights are free of charge to consumers.

Compost Genie® reserves the right to modify or change the terms and conditions of this warranty at any time. Should the case arise, a notice indicating the modifications will be published on the Compost Genie® website at least thirty (30) days prior to their coming into effect. The version of this warranty that is in force at the time when a purchase is made is the version that will apply to that purchase.
